Is it safe?
Yes, areola/nipple tattooing is safe. No procedure comes without risks involved such as allergic reaction to the ink and infection of the skin/ tissue. We will discuss the risks at the time of your appointment. Single-use disposable sterile needles and disposable cups for pigments are used along with strict aseptic protocols for hand washing and gloves are worn at all times.
How long does an areola tattoo last: The areola nipple tattoo lasts about 5 Years, and fades over time.
• Do not work out 24 hours before procedure.
• No alcohol or caffeine 24 hours before procedure.
• Avoid sun and tanning one week prior to procedure.
• Do not take Aspirin, Niacin, Vitamin E or Advil/Ibuprofen 24 hours before procedure. (You may take Tylenol prior to procedure)
• No brow waxing, tinting, microdermabrasion or chemical peels one week before.
• Discontinue Retin-A 4 Weeks Prior.
• Do not use AHA skincare products close to the eyebrow area 2 weeks prior to and 2 weeks after your procedure.
• No Botox around the brow area 2 weeks prior.

I always say 7 to 10 days. Everyone’s skin is different. Color intensity will be darker immediately after the procedure. Your darkest days will be the 1st through 3rd day. This is because the pigment is still sitting on top of your skin, and has not yet settled in completely. The color of the pigment will soften gradually and the darkness will subside and become softer as the skin heals…. your brows will be darker and feel slightly larger, followed by some flaking and possibly some undesirable scabbing… Your new eyebrows will go through several phases during the healing cycle. The color of the pigment will soften gradually. Do not be alarmed if you see some pigment on the cotton swab, as this is excess pigment and/or body fluid that is naturally Dexiting your skin. Once the healing of the skin starts taking place, it will look like dandruff flakes or dry skin. This might give you the impression that the color pigment is fading too quickly, however, this is just superficial color and dry skin being naturally removed from your eyebrows. Nanoblading (Nano Brows) does not eliminate the need to fill in your eyebrows for some individuals over time. I am giving you the illusion of hair. So now if you choose to add powder or pencil you will have the perfectly Contoured brows already in place saving you tons of time in the morning.
